Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator stampwithpeg – Medium note pad
I just love notebooks of any kind, especially after they have been prettified (is that a word, if not it should be). This time I have used a medium sized notebook, unlined so that I can sketch out ideas or doodle, I do love a good doodle its very therapeutic.
The process of covering this size is the same as the smaller ones or any size really, the only difference is, the bigger the notebook the longer you make the back piece, for this one I made it 2″ compared to 1.5″ for the smaller ones, the instructions for covering them is here.
I used Calypso Coral card and Ink and Pretty Petals DSP, I stamped ‘a happy hello’ with the Tin of Cards Stamp set, and added Butterflies and Flowers with some gold thread peeping out behind the flowers. I think it looks quite cute and am looking forward to using it.
Before I started using Stampin’ Up! products trying to match up the card with the papers and embellishments took me so long to do, I would go through everything I had trying to get matches and find a combination I actually liked, but now I find it so easy and my inspiration comes from the colours, the papers or even the stamps themselves. I think it is within everybodys capabilities to create awsome projects when they have such fabulous products to work with.
