So many flowers in the Flower Shop!

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator stampwithpeg – Birthday Flowers.

I started out thinking I was going to make one card, hmm somehow one became six. I had decided to pick one colour and add Very Vanilla and see where I went from there, the first ink that I put my hand on was Lost Lagoon so I went with that.

I really love the effect when you stamp all over your card with the matching ink, so I chose one of the flowers from the Flower Shop stamp set to do this with. I then stamped the same flower once on the Very Vanilla and added sentiments from the Cottage Greetings stamp set again in Lost Lagoon.

As I looked at the result I thought how easy it would be to repeat the same process in different colours and before I knew it I had made six. I love how quick and easy these are to make, all I added was a couple of punched out flowers, and some embellishments and I was done.

I love the simplicity of them and yet I also feel they make quite a statement.  In fact I decided I needed to make them into sets so have started to make some tealight holders to match, which I will finish tomorrow and share with you all.

How many of you are as bad as me for getting lost in crafting, and quick cards end up being hours of crafting fun.  Please let me know your stories by leaving me a comment, surely I cant be the only one! 🙂

To purchase any of the products featured in my blog click on the links below, this will take you to my shop page.

Remember if you do order, add the hostess code which is shown top right (or at the bottom on mobiles), as at the end of the month I will close off this code and anyone who has used it will get a Stampin’ Up! product in the post from me. This will not come in with your order as it is directly from me, this is as well as a little thank you card and handmade gift that I send as a thank you each month you order from me just for being a customer, I am so humbled by people choosing me to purchase from and it is my way of trying to show this.
Please make sure you allow contact as if you do not I will not be able to send you this.
If your order is over £150 please do not use the code as you will get the hostess benefits yourself with your order.
Happy Crafting
