I wanted to do something a bit different today, and I know I often use flowers but I don’t build them up this way. Its very effective in making this card stand out, and other than the flowers its a fairly easy card to make. The flowers aren’t that hard really they just take a little more time.
I started by using 3 flower stamps from both the Flower Shop Bundle and the Petite Petals Bundle, I inked each stamp once and stamped the large ones 3 times and small 2 times..
I curled the edges of each flower using my bone folder, then put them together starting with the darkest large to the lightest large, same with the smaller flower, till all five were added, I used a dimensional between each of the large flowers and a glue dot for each of the small ones.
I used the Decorative Label punch for the sentiment, using an extra punch out I added a border behind as shown above.
With the papers, flowers and top sentiment I really didn’t want to overpower the card so just used a small simple Happy Birthday in the bottom right corner on a Word Window Punch out.
I added a couple of Enamel dots and was done, I was worried it would be far too fussy but I actually don’t mind it. I will have to use my envelope punch board to make an envelope box as it wont fit in a normal envelope. I will show this in tomorrows blog.
Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed my project
Take care, Happy Crafting
