Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator stampwithpeg – Owl Builder Punch, Age Birthday Card
I needed a birthday card for a very sweet and special little girl, so it needed to be as cute as she is. What better way to make it cute than using the Owl Builder punch, and its so easy to use. I added some punched out balloons from the Balloon Celebration Set, and die cut the 6 using the Large Numbers Framelits. The lovely sentiment came from the Number of Years stamp set, which was also used to stamp the number.
Of course it had to be pink and the owl had to be a girl, so dressing it in pink and giving it a cute bow just had to be done. I wanted to add a bit of fun to it by having the owl hold the balloons in its beak, and I think it does just that.
The three little hearts were added afterwards, mainly because the one on the left next to the 6 is covering up a little smudge I made, but it was a happy accident because I love the hearts and I used Wink of Stella on them to make them glittery.
I am really pleased with how it turned out, even with a smudge. In crafting we can always ‘cover up’ our little mistakes and usually end up with something we like even more.
As always Happy Crafting
