Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator stampwithpeg – Quick Card using pre-made tags, Night of Navy and Grateful Bunch.
Here it is again – Quick Card Thursday, yep it is that time again already.
One of yesterdays blog posts was a lovely little
gift tag using the Grateful Bunch Bundle. I always make extra when I make tags because they can be so useful, especially if you suddenly realise you need a card for someone and you only have about 10 minutes to make it.
When I put the spare tags in my craft cupboard I usually do a couple of sentiments in the same colour ink and put them with the tags. But this isn’t essential as they would be quick enough to do at the same time as the card.
The quickest way I find to make the card is to cut a piece of card (I use A4) in half and then Score and fold in the middle. I cut a layer of contrasting card about 1/2″ smaller, and a piece of background paper 1/8″ smaller again. Layer them up, add the tag diagonally, Add the sentiment and embellish to suit. In this case I added a matching flower in the top right corner and a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
I added a piece of Whisper White card in the middle to write on, if you have enough time you could stamp a small matching image inside, but if stuck for time just the insert is fine.
And that’s it done, so remember if you are making a gift tag making a few extra the same wont take much longer, and you will have the makings of a very quick card.
