Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator stampwithpeg – Quick card using Go Wild Paper Stack.
The Go Wild Designer Paper stack is perfect for male cards, which is definitely good for me as I always have ‘pretty’ cards coming into my mind when trying to come up with ideas. So when I need a male card I get out the paper, flick through it a few times, then pick out a design that catches my eye and go from there.
Isn’t this a gorgeous design, and with a Basic Black card base it sets it off perfectly. With such a bold design I didn’t want to overpower it with lots on it so kept is simple, I picked out a few scraps I had in the pack and put them together to form a banner, backed again with Basic Black card. There’s a sneak peek in there for you too, on the middle of the banner I have used some new washi tape from the Pop of Pink Series which has some gorgeous black and white elements in it.
I stamped Happy and Birthday in Basic Black on Whisper White card, and stamped a star on each, these were angled under the banner and apart from a few rhinestones that was it done.
I placed everything so that the card looks good the way it was, but could also be added to if I needed to. So if it was a card for my Husband for example, I could add that bottom right and it would still look just as good (I would probably put Old Fart, so he would definitely know it was for him 🙂 ) I love him loads really.
This one took around about 10 minutes which is what I consider a quick card, I will never include one on Quick Card Thursday that takes me longer than 15 minutes, but quicker is better.
I hope you try this for yourself, let me know how long it takes or if you would have done anything differently, I love constructive criticism it gives me more ideas.
