Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator stampwithpeg – Thank You card using Pretty Petals DSP
Say Thank You with flowers.
I have lots of different Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper Stacks, about half used, It takes me a while to start using any because I love them so much, they have this special feel and smell to them when you first get them that makes you not want to use them and keep them forever. If you have any too you will know exactly what I mean 🙂
But… I do use them eventually and this is one of my favourites – Pretty Petals DSP which is retiring soon. I will be sad to see it go but it’s still around till the end of May and best of all it has a great offer on it, many of the retiring products have been reduced take a look you might find some bargains, product details are below click into link to see reduced price.
I like to do this kind of card if I have lots of small pieces that I dont want to waste, I pick out a background paper and two or three coordinating pieces. I back them with card using one of the colours included in the papers I am using, 1/8″ longer and wider than the paper, and use this for the card base too.
I then just eyeball where I want them to go by moving them round till I am happy with them. Once that’s all done I stick them on then decide on how I want my sentiment, in this case I used my Decorative Label Punch and backed it again with Old Olive card. I added a few Pearl Basic Jewels and It was done. I never know what these are going to look like till they are finished and I love that.
Have a look in your paper stash and have a go, using your little pieces you thought would never be big enough to make anything out of. I would love to see any that you make, use comments below or pop to my facebook page here to leave a pic or comment.
