Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator stampwithpeg – Thank You Card using sneak peek of the Affectionately Yours Suite
I love the new Affectionately Yours Suite from the New Annual Catalogue, which by the way is available to order from in just 6 days, woo hoo I cant wait I have a list a mile long of things I want, and the rest of this suite is at the top of it.
At the moment I have the Designer Series Paper stack, and Washi Tape pack from the suite so decided today was a good day to show them off.
For my card I cut a piece of Crumb Cake card in half vertically and then scored in the middle to create my card base and also cut a piece 5 3/4″ x 2 1/8″. I picked out one of the lovely designs from my paper pack and I cut one piece 5 3/4″ x 4″ and another 5 3/4″ x 2″.
I added the larger piece of DSP to my base with the leafy side showing, and then added the other piece of DSP to my smaller piece of card with the reverse side of the DSP showing. Using Dimesionals I placed this onto the card base over to the left I just eyeballed this, its a quick card after all 🙂
Using the Night of Navy Stampin Pad I stamped Thank You from the One Big Meaning Stamp set, onto Whisper White Card. I put a strip of Washi Tape again from Affectionately yours, above and below my sentiment.
Then eyeballing again I trimmed my sentiment into a rectangle leaving a border either side of white, and I cut the top and bottom through the Washi tape just leaving one side of the leaves. (originally it was double leaves like the leafy paper below it).
I really love the way this has turned out and I think it looks like it takes a lot more work than it actually does, this was done in under 15 minutes. I cant wait to try it again with some of the other designs and washi tapes from the same suite.
I hope you try this, it will work just as well with any of the DSP stacks, or in 6 days you could order this one for yourself If you love it as much as I do.
The new products used for the sneak peak can not be purchased until the 1st June, but to purchase any of the other products featured in my blog that are not new but are continuing in the new catalogue, click on the links below, this will take you to my shop page.
