Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator stampwithpeg – Mens Collection Continued : Comb Holder with Instructions.
As promised the final project in the Go Wild & Regal Mens Collection. This is not quite what I had planned, I started off making a Comb and Nail file holder with 2 sections back to back. This worked as planned but was very complex to describe and I really need to do a video to show this properly. This will now come at a later date when I pick up the courage to do one 🙂 (And figure out how!)
Here are the sets, I still need to do a card to go with the Night of Navy collection.
Here are the instructions for the Comb Holder:
Cut a piece of Card 5 1/4″ x 1 5/8″, and a piece of DSP 5 1/4″ x 3 1/4″.
Score the DSP:- Long Side – 4 7/8″ / Short Side – 1 1/2″ & 3″
On the short side cut out the left and right side and wedge into the middle one as shown.
Round the corners of the card.
with the back facing you, fold the right side across the middle, glue the left side and then fold over to join as shown, glue the small tab at the bottom and fold that over also.
Using a circle punch, I used a 1″ one, make a notch in the top, add some washi tape near the bottom, then using a strong adhesive like fuse or tear and tape on the back of it stick it to the card base as in picture above.
Add your chosen tag and sentiment, then your embellishments. For mine I added small stars with Wink of Stella on, and some Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
The finished Comb Holders look great and with the Yorkie Slider and Sticky Note holder make a fab present for someone. Possibly a teacher with the end of the School Year coming soon, or for Fathers Day.
I hope you have enjoyed my Men’s Collection, I have lots more projects planned and cant wait to try them out and share them with you all.
