Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator stampwithpeg – Thank you, friend! Love you Lots and Playful Palette.
Is that not just the cutest little elephant, I have done two cards with this gorgeous stamp but as its Quick Card Thursday this is the ideal one to feature today. It was certainly speedy to put together, the card base is my usual half a sheet of A4 folded in half, with the first layer 1/8″ less on width and length. I used a piece of DSP from Playful Palette for my layer, its kind of an arty set with spots, splodges and swishes.
The stamp itself is incredible, so easy and so clear it certainly doesn’t look stamped even. I just stamped it onto Very Vanilla card and eyeballed the size then rounded the corners, then repeated this for the sentiment which is from the same stamp set.
I added some matching ribbon and bakers twine under the sentiment and a few enamel shapes to finish it off. I could have coloured the elephant but I wanted to keep the pencil drawn look to it for this card. I really like the way it has turned out and will be repeating this with the other stamps in the set.
