Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator stampwithpeg – Affectionately Yours, with Thanks!
My card is really appropriate today because I would like to thank each and every one of you for taking the time to read my blogs. When I first started doing these I was really unconfident a) with myself and b) with my crafting, but with the help of all you lovely people I am much more confident than I was. I still doubt my projects all the time but I think that is just normal, and sometimes I can even say to myself ‘you know what Lynn that card is okay’. (I really do talk to myself mostly out loud, then I tell myself off for doing it) 🙂
So….. Today is quick card Thursday which means a nice quick and easy card, I picked out the flower pattern paper from Affectionately yours as my starting point and coordinated from there.
I started by cutting a sheet of Flirty Flamingo card in half horizontally and then scoring and folding in half. My panel of DSP was cut 1/8″smaller.
I added two pieces of coordinating Washi Tape across the middle and picked out Night of Navy from my flowered DSP to add a bakers twine bow.
My DSP panel is 3″ x 3″ with the layer under it being 1/8″ bigger using Watermelon Wonder card.
This was glued straight on my base. I then stamped ‘Thank You’ on to a piece of DSP matching my base layer with Night of Navy ink and punched it out before distressing it with Watermelon Wonder.
This was also glued straight on to my card and three Flirty Flamingo Enamel stars were added.
Next weeks Quick Card Thursday falls on the first day of the new seasonal catalogue, woo hoo!! So my card will be a Christmas card made using some of the fantastic new things that will be available to order that very day, exciting… much!
To purchase any of the products featured in my blog or to check out all the gorgeous products in the catalogue click on the links below, this will take you to my shop page. Remember if you do order, add the hostess code which is shown top right (or at the bottom on mobiles), as at the end of the month I will close off this code and anyone who has used it will get a Stampin’ Up! product in the post from me.
This will not come in with your order as it is directly from me, this is as well as a little thank you card and handmade gift that I send as a thank you each month you order from me just for being a customer, I am so humbled by people choosing me to purchase from and it is my way of trying to show this.
If your order is over £150 please do not use the code as you will get the hostess benefits yourself with your order.
