Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator stampwithpeg – Craft Fair makes : Gift Card Holder / Money Wallet with instructions.
I haven’t got any craft fairs booked for a while now, which is a good thing as I really need to get stocked up again, after a couple of busy fairs (obviously I’m not complaining 🙂 ) I have ran out of my gift card holders so that makes it the perfect opportunity for me to both stock up plus share these with you all on my blog.
These cute little holders have plenty of room for either a gift card or money and are nice and easy to make.
You need to cut 2 pieces of card, I foolishly forgot to take the photo of the second piece oops!
Cut your first piece to 8″ x 5″ and another at 8″ x 1 1/4″
On the larger piece Score along the long side at 2″ and 5 1/2″
Round the top corners.
Cut 2 pieces of paper – 2 3/8″ x 4 7/8″ and 1 7/8″ x 4 7/8″
Round the bottom 2 corners of the largest piece.
Turn your card so that the right side is facing and adhere your paper to it, the largest piece goes on the top section matching the corners and the smaller piece goes on the bottom section.
Turn back over and add either tear and tape, fuse or other strong adhesive as shown below.
You will notice that there is a strip just under the fold this is so that the gift card sits up the pocket a bit to look better.
Fold the bottom up and press to adhere, fold the top panel down, this is the front of your holder.
Fold your thin strip of card around the middle as shown gently crease at the folds, remove and adhere at the join. Slide this back around with the join at the front.
Cut 2 circles, I used the Layering Circles framelit dies, I cut one 2″ scalloped circle from a piece of matching card and one 1 7/8″ circle out of Whisper White card.
I stamped a pattern on the white card, stamping it off twice first so that it was very pale then stamped my sentiment over, before distressing the edges. Layer the two circles and add them to your band making sure not to glue onto the holder itself. Embellish as wished, I used 3 of the smallest flower from the Blossom Bunch punch on mine.
(My tester sheet 🙂 )
I made 7 altogether, still need to make some more but this is a good start. I used different papers and sentiments I don’t really like to make 2 the same, I prefer them all to be unique.
I’m not sure that I have explained these well, sometimes I just cant put things into words properly so if there is anything you dont understand please leave me a comment or email me at email@example.com
All the papers used were from current Stampin’ Up! paper packs but are too many to put on the supply list but feel free to contact me if you would like to know which particular pack any of these were from.
