Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator stampwithpeg – Craft fair make, Easel Desk Calendar and Note Pad : Affectionately Yours.
This is a fab little project, I am making quite a few of these again this year they were very popular at last years Christmas Fairs. They make a perfect little gift to pop in with a Christmas Card.
You start with a sheet of A4 card, cut it vertically down the middle then one of the pieces cut horizontally across the middle, and one of those pieces cut to 3 1/8″ x 1 5/8″. I have put measurements on the picture and below.
You need 3 pieces of your chosen colour card: 4 1/8″ x 11 3/4″, 4 1/8″ x 5 7/8″ and 3 1/8″ x 5 1/8″, and 1 piece of white 3″ x 1 1/2″.
Score your long piece in the centre at 5 7/8″ and again in the centre of one side at 2 15/16″
With the long piece with score lines at the bottom put double sided tape on the very bottom quarter as shown then take the largest of the other 2 pieces and place directly on top of the tape so that it covers the whole bottom half.
These photos hopefully show what I mean, It’s quite hard to explain. (The right hand face is the front of your calendar, keep folded and lay so the front is facing you)
You then need 3 pieces of DSP, 1 at 4″ x 5 3/4″ and 2 pieces 4″ x 2 7/8″
Place the two smaller pieces on the front as shown
Flip open and place the large piece of DSP on the bottom half, then adhere your post it note booklet with the bottom edge about 1/2″ up.
Stamp your chosen design/sentiment on to your piece of white card, matt and layer with your small coloured card then add to the front as shown.
Add your calendar tab to the bottom half, then tie a ribbon around the centre to hide the join, or some nice washi tape.
I have not really mentioned which colours/DSP I used in my description, any colour or design can be used. But if you want to make one the same they are all in the supply list below, the calendar tabs are available in most craft shops or off ebay/Amazon and are inexpensive and the post it notes are all over, these ones were from Asda in a pack with 4 different pastel colours. Any questions please feel free to ask.
At the time this is posted (I have scheduled a few days in advance with this one to make sure I didn’t miss my saturday blog post) I am at a team training weekend hopefully having lots of fun with lots of crafting going on but I will be taking lots of photos and getting loads of ideas and inspiration and sharing this all with you next week, hope you all have a fab weekend too.
