By the shore Gift Tag : With a little Sweet Treat and Endless Birthday Wishes!

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator stampwithpeg – By the shore Gift Tag : With a little Sweet Treat and Endless Birthday Wishes!

Now I have to confess when I made these yesterday my head was in the clouds and I didn’t have a clue what I wanted to make, I have just got the By the Shore DSP stack and the Endless Wishes stamp set so I decided to use them to make a card but as you can see I changed my mind (a women’s prerogative, or so they say 🙂 ).

I remembered a lovely swap I got at a team training weekend from the lovely Hannah (stampinbyhannah) using the tag topper scalloped punch and I made a variation of it. I made birthday gift tags with a little sweetie pocket that were so quick and easy to do.

I cut some DSP to 4″ x 4 1/2″ and scored on the long side at 1/2″ and 2 1/2″, I then stamped the middle panel using the Endless Wishes stamp set, the birthday cake is so cute and there are heaps of word stamps in it, it contains a huge 27 stamps.

I added some tear and tape along the long thin panel on the front left then turned the paper over and added some along the bottom. Remove the backing and with the back facing fold the small panel in to the middle then the other side over this, run your finger along the bottom to firmly stick this together.

Punch the top of the tags with the tag topper scalloped punch, add your sweet treat, I used freddo’s which are a perfect size. To finish I added some ribbon and some metallic enamel stars. The backs are left blank so that the to and from can be added.

Now I must admit although these are ok they are not my favourite tags, I just feel something is missing, but I am sure if I add them to a gift the chocolate will get more attention than the tag anyway 🙂

Happy Crafting
