Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator stampwithpeg – Quick Card Thursday : Delightful Dijon Frosted Medallions
I love tone on tone stamping it has such a lovely effect but I will be honest straight off about this one, it really is not one of my favourites. Don’t get me wrong I like the colour, and the DSP and the stamps so pretty much all the separate parts, but finished I just think it looks wrong but I can’t figure out why!
I think it has just been on of those weeks we all have them don’t we, where we just can’t think what we want to make and then when we do decide it just doesn’t look right, I am hoping my crafting mojo comes back soon, but I feel I need to share the good and the bad with you all, so here it is 🙂
I have used Delightful Dijon card and ink and stamped all over it with Frosted Medallions, then added a thin strip of Moroccan DSP. My Decorative label punch out was stamped with Endless Birthday Wishes and the edge of the stamp I used on the base, I added this to my card with some loops of Copper Metallic Thread underneath and finished it off with some enamel metallic shapes.
It was quick of course its Thursday after all. You never know maybe it might grow on me 🙂 wish me luck for Saturday as I have not managed to come up with an idea of what I am going to make yet, but no matter what it is or how good or bad it is I will be back here to share it with you all.
