Lift Me Up : Carried Away on a hot air balloon! Birthday Card – Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Stamp with Peg.
I was reminded a few days ago that one of my favourite Stampin’ Up! colours Mint Macaron would be retiring at the end of May, ready for a new set of In Colors when the new annual catalogue is released in June, so today’s project had to include this fabulous colour.
This gorgeous Designer Series Paper is from the Carried Away pack, it is one of the FREE products that can be obtained during Sale-a-bration (not sure what that is? – click HERE ) It is just Mint Macaron and Whisper White, isn’t it lush, and just look at the other designs in the pack, WOW!
This DSP pack ties in with a new set in the Spring/Summer Catalogue, the Lift me Up bundle! Click on the picture to see this set in the catalogue.
I used the large hot air balloon die with Night of Navy card, which I also used for my card base and I used a matt of Mint Macaron. I also die cut the large hot air balloon on my layer of DSP to get the cut out shape, this was then added to my card matt, and the Navy die cut balloon was fitted into the shape so it fit nearly flush with the Mint Macaron showing through.
I stamped one of the smaller balloons and some clouds from the set and added one of the sentiments to the bottom, I love the font on this one. I then added an white insert and stamped this with the small balloon also, and a couple of clouds in the top left but you can’t see them from this angle.
I finished my card off with some Rhinestones on the balloons and under the sentiment, what do you think? I really like it, especially the two colours together.
The fab thing is, if you buy the Lift me Up bundle and the Rhinestones it comes to just over £45 which means you can get the Carried Away DSP sale-a-bration set FREE! amazing right! There are so many more things that can be made with this bundle, the die cut balloon looks fab on little boxes, notebooks or favours etc, ooh I think I may have to make a notebook using this, watch this space! :). I may even do a YouTube tutorial, as of today we have faster internet so I have no more excuses (other than not having much of a clue how to yet, but I have to start somewhere) Click HERE to go to my shop page and take a closer look at the fab products available. This will not come in with your order as it is directly from me, this is as well as a little thank you card and handmade gift that I send as a thank you each month you order from me just for being a customer, I am so humbled by people choosing me to purchase from and it is my way of trying to show this.
If your order is over £150 please do not use the code as you will get the hostess benefits yourself with your order.
