Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator stampwithpeg : Thanks for Everything : ‘So in love with’ Copper Embossing and watercolouring! – Thank you card.
This years Spring/Summer Stampin’ Up! catalogue has some amazing new products in, and to mark the release one of the members of the team I am part of, organised a swap group. We each had to make 5 cards using product from the catalogue, and send them to everyone on our list, here is my card.
My starting point was to cut a panel of Whisper White 1/8″ smaller than my card base, then stamp the flower from the So in Love stamp set in each corner, with Versamark and heat emboss in copper. I then picked out two colours, Cherry Cobbler and Night of Navy and using an aqua painter coloured inside the flowers.
That was as much as I had planned and the rest just sort of fell into place, there is a stamp in the set that has 4 small flowers so I used that to stamp on two of the corners, I stamped 3 times before re-inking and repeated this till I had a nice full curve of flowers in Daffodil Delight.
I added a couple of Garden Green leaves each side of the flower, then stamped the sentiment in the colour to match the flower, this was from the All things Thanks stamp set.
Finally I stamped and Copper embossed some butterflies with the Papillon Potpourri stamp set and punched them out with the Bitty Butterfly punch, and added them to my card before adding my panels to my card bases.
I really liked the way these turned out so I made some more for my customer thank you packs, to give to my customers who ordered from me in January.
I am so thankful for people choosing me as their demonstrator as I know there are lots of us to choose from, and by choosing me they make it possible for me to continue to make and share with you lots of my crafting projects using current products.
I am also really grateful to everyone that visits and reads my blog, you are all amazing, Thank you.
