Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator stampwithpeg : Theme Thursday – Lift me up Bundle, Up and Away
As promised last week, I am starting a new series of blog posts for a Thursday. On the first Thursday of each month I will pick a theme and will keep with that theme for each Thursday of that month.
This month I have chosen the Lift me Up Bundle, which is a fabulous collection of stamps and thinlits.
I know I am going to have fun with this one, I have so many ideas already, but the one I have for you today I made over a month ago.
It was made as my February swap for my swap club, the theme was Valentines but I wanted to make something that could be used for that reason but could also be used for other occasions too, I think this would make a lovely engagement or anniversary card, even maybe a wedding card, what do you think?
I used some of the stamps in the set with Real Red, Soft Sky and Smoky Slate to make my own DSP, I then cut a piece for the front of my card and still have some left that I can use for a future project.
I stamped and die cut one of the balloons and the heart with the Up and Away thinlits and added these to my card along with the sentiment, and added a couple of enamel dots.
I finished the card by stamping a couple of the designs inside the card. This was really fun to make and I am looking forward to seeing what else I can come up with for my new Thursday Theme.
